Smooth Skin With St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control 06/26/2009

Get excited, we made it to Friday!

I may be ready for the weekend, but my skin sure isn’t. It’s def time to exfoliate. Usually, I make my own face and body scrub, but I think I need a little something extra to help with my acne and dreaded bacne. Time to whip out my trusty St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control!

StIvesScrubNot only does this baby scrub away dead skin, it also helps obliterate those evil zits with salicylic acid. I know it’s supposed to be a face scrub, but who says you can’t use it all over your body? Just be sure leave it on for a minute or two so the medicine has time to penetrate. Use this two to three times a week and your skin will be smooth and have less day-ruining zits in no time.

Speaking of smooth, here’s my fav Michael Jackson video, Smooth Criminal.

R.I.P. Michael. There will never be another King of Pop. We’ll miss you like crazy *tear*

Does this scrub really work with blackheads? I am having a major blackhead problem on my nose! It seems like nothing works aside from squeezing them until my skin peels off. Not pleasant!

      Hey iCandy!
The scrub works pretty well for me and have some pretty big blackheads too. Just be sure to leave it on for at least a minute or two so that the medicine actually has time to penetrate the skin. My sis-in-law swears by those pore strips that you stick on and then peel off after a few minutes. I’ve never tried those, but they work well for her. Squeezing them out sounds pretty painful, don’t think that’s such a good idea to keep doing. Lemme know how the scrub works out :)
