Happy Sunday, pretty peeps! I hope your Thanksgiving weekend has been relaxing and tasty. I started trying out my Khrome polishes from China Glaze that I bought awhile back. First up, 2030, a very metallic gold.

I admit it’s not the best picture, but you can sorta see how reflective it is. It reminds me of C-3PO from Star Wars, I just love it!
I love that this doesn’t show any brush strokes like most metallic polishes. The formula is pretty much flawless, but I did find that applying it a little differently helped in making it look smooth. My first attempt at applying this was a disaster because I applied it too thick. The key is to apply a thin coat, starting from the side of the nail, then middle, then the other side (instead of the usual middle, side, other side). You don’t really need a second coat, but if you want to add it, you should let the first coat dry for about five minutes. These dry really fast so putting on a second coat too quickly will ruin the first coat; I learned that the hard way. If you have a lot of ridges on your nails, you might want to use ridge filler as a base coat because this polish will show every single flaw.
What I love most about this polish, and most polishes from China Glaze, is that it wears like iron. This pic was taken after five days of wear! Of course a good base and top coat helps; I recommend Orly Bonder base coat and Poshe top coat. You can see that there’s some tip wear, but no chips. Amazing!

Whatcha think? Do you love you some China Glaze too?
