I call this blog Lazy Beautiful because I want to share ways to be beautiful, inside and out, without a lot of work or spending too much money. It’s also a play on the phrase “crazy beautiful.”
This blog is about stuff I like and cool things I discover. Yes, the focus will be on beauty, but be don’t surprised if there’s a post on food or travel, or anything else.
I’m on a budget so you’ll be seeing drugstore finds and DIY tips along with my (way too many) splurges. I’ll also pass along news about sales and deals, ’cause who doesn’t love paying less for something?
When it comes to trends, I don’t follow them. I just go with what feels right, even if it means wearing yellow nail polish in the dead of winter.
I’m on a constant quest to find the holy grail foundation and mascara, and am a total lip gloss junkie. I always have at least three glosses in my purse. Always.
I try my hardest to only use products that have not been tested on animals. You won’t see a lot products from companies on this list ’cause I really stick to my guns on this one. Unless, there’s something awesome that cruelty-free companies just don’t make, i.e Shout Wipes (these are portable stain removal wipes that I always have in my purse since I’m a total klutz).
I am a complete and total nerd and always read the ingredients on products before I buy them. If I don’t know what a certain ingredient is, I’ll look it up. I love learning about what goes on (and in) my body. In fact, I just love learning, period.
